Brief Description


The Trafficking in Persons (Prevention) Act 2010 was passed by the nation’s Parliament to give effect to the United Nations Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children, supplementing the UN Convention against Transnational Organised Crime, 2000; to combat the trafficking in persons within Antigua and Barbuda and through the country’s territorial boundaries.
