The “State Response to End Violence against Women" Legislative Policy Reform Implementation Program is a 3-year program being implemented by the Ministry of Social Development. The project is expected to advance the mechanisms, services and the social climate needed to effectively implement the laws addressing violence against women, strengthen the multi-disciplinary response to violence against women, empower survivors and their families, and provide the public access to services based on awareness of the laws regarding gender based violence. The project is also expected to promote cultural intolerance for violence against women and girls.
