Brief Description


The Supreme Council for Women (SCW) established a centre to receive and act on women's complaints, with offices in Bahrain's five governorates. The centre’s main goals are to monitor cases of violence against women, recommend solutions and alternatives in family violence cases, and follow up. The centre operates a telephone hotline to receive and appropriately handle women's complaints. The centre also helps women obtain free legal assistance.
