In 2013, 21 trafficking victims—including 12 subjected to sex trafficking and 9 subjected to labour trafficking—were identified by the Australian Federal Police, and referred to the Government's Support for Trafficked People Program. Of these 21 trafficking victims, 19 were female and 2 were male. The Government's Support for Trafficked People Program also keeps forced marriage under surveillance and in the year 2013 the program received one case regarding forced marriage.
