Brief Description

A toll-free number that allows the population to report easily, anonymously and free of charge for cases of FGM has been set up. Thus, the prevalence rate of female circumcision among women of childbearing age decreased from 76% in 2010 (Demographic and Health Survey IV) to 67.7% in 2015 (Continuous Multisectoral Survey).
