Brief Description
In 2021, Cameroon adopted the Second National Action Plan to Combat FGM. The country also updated the terms of reference of the local committees to tackle the isuue. This National Action Plan is relevant for the three regions, Manyu in the South West, Logone and Chari in the Far North and the central region of Mfoundi-Briqueterie, whereFGM is practised.
