National Campaign to End Early Marriage

Brief Description

The DRC launched a 3-year national campaign to end early marriage in 2015. This campaign has helped to improve the knowledge of young girls and boys as well as communities about the disadvantages of early marriage and the need to invest in girls' education. Youth associations were mobilised around the Ministry of Gender, Children and Family to raise awareness among their peers about the fight against early marriage.
