Brief Description


Article 23 of the Fundamental Law of Equitorial Guinea adopted in 1982, and amended in 2012, includes the following provisions: The State protects the person from his conception and protects [ampara] the minor so that he may develop normally and in security for his moral, mental, and physical integrity, as well as [in] his life in the home.
