Training to Public Administration

Brief Description

Since October 2009, the Government has been pursuing a more practical policy to fight discrimination against women and has been trying to increase public awareness of the conventions ratified by Gabon in the area of the rights of women and children. In order to sensitize the public administration to the importance of gender equality, training on the laws that prohibit and punish gender-based discrimination has gradually been introduced to the officials referred to in the recommendation.
