Brief Description

As a means of using technology to report and prevent violence, the Ministry of Gender, Youth, Sports and Recreation has launched the Nokaneng Programme in 2018 in collaboration with GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) and GLL (Gender Links Lesotho). The program uses a Smart Phone App for reporting violence, educating and sensitising members of the community about all forms of gender-based violence and service providers in health, legal and psychosocial support sectors.
