In 2018, with the support of IOM, Madagascar was able to set up its first emergency reception center for women victims of human trafficking. This center is a stopover lodge, fully furnished and equipped to receive victims of national and transnational trafficking in an emergency upon their return to the country. It provides protective accommodation, a serene and friendly space in which the victims can begin their reconstruction and regain their human dignity.
