Gender-Based Violence Action Plan of the National Police

Brief Description

The Ministry in charge of Security, through the National Directorate of Police in collaboration with UN Women Mali launched on Monday 5 March 2018 its three-year action plan against this phenomenon for the period 2018-2020. This three-year action plan is inspired by and refers to national, regional and international normative frameworks of human rights, policies and strategies at the national level on gender and the protection of people. These include national documents such as the penal code, the national gender policy and the national action plan for the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 in Mali. This plan will cover the period from 2018 to 2020.
