Brief Description


In response to GBV, the Malian government, through the Ministry for the Promotion of Women, Children and the Family, has undertaken a series of measures. In response to GBV, the Malian government, through the Ministry for the Promotion of Women, Children and the Family, has undertaken a series of measures, including the development of a holistic national communication strategy to end GBV, along with a plan for its implementation. National Holistic Communication Strategy to end GBV with its 2019-2030 action plan. The document refers to six types of gender-based violence (Rape, sexual assault including FGM/Cutting), physical violence, forced marriage (including child marriage), denial of legitimate access to resources, opportunities or services and psychological/emotional violence.
