Niger has adopted a National Strategy for the Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and implemented its 2017-2021 action plan. The aim is to eventually reduce the prevalence rate of gender-based violence (GBV) in Niger from 28.4% to 15.4%. To this end, a consultation framework for stakeholders in the fight against GBV and holistic care centres for GBV survivors are available.
