Brief Description

To combat female genital mutilation (FGM), in addition to regulatory texts and awareness-raising, income-generating activities support is provided to excisers. Thus, 13 excisers in the village of Tamou (Tillabéri region) have changed jobs by abandoning the profession of excisers.
