Brief Description

The Family Squad Unit based at the Central Police Station offers some specialized services for cases involving child abuse and domestic violence by advising the prosecutors on how to handle these cases on a case by case basis. However, in response to human resources shortages, this unit is no longer solely dedicated to family issues.
