Brief Description


The Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare developed a National Policy on the Protection and Care of Children without appropriate Parental Care in 2017. This policy addresses among several other issues and challenges, the vulnerability of children to trafficking and sexual exploitation by seeking to promote the protection of children. Through this policy, the Ministry of Gender seeks to work to ensure that anti-trafficking laws do not have negative effects and impacts on children on the move.
