Protocol of Action for Security Forces (Femicide)

Brief Description

The Protocol of Action for Security Forces (Registro de Femicidios – Protocolo de Actuación para Fuerzas de Seguridad) is a protocol for the investigation and litigation of cases of violent deaths of women (femicides). The protocol is based on the Model Latin American protocol for the investigation of violent deaths of women due to gender (femicide/feminicide) developed by the Regional Office for Central America of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and the Regional Office of UN Women for the Americas and the Caribbean.
