Brief Description

Council of Sector and Intersector Coordination for a Life Without Violence (Consejo de Coordinación Sectorial e Intersectoral por una Vida Libre de Violencia) holds 2 sessions per year with the aim to articulate and coordinate the effective implementation of Laws No. 348 and 243. In the last sessions in 2017, the council approved the Multisectoral Plan for the Advancement in Depatriarchalization and the Right of Women to “Live Well ” (Plan Multisectorial para el Avance en la Despatriarcalización y el Derecho de las Mujeres a “Vivir Bien”) and the “Integral Policy for a Decent Life of Women” (Política Integral para una Vida Digna de las Mujeres) to eradicate gender violence.
