Brief Description

Plurinational Service for Women and Depatriarchalization "Ana María Romero" (Servicio Plurinacional de la Mujer y de la Despatriarcalización “Ana María Romero”) was created as a decentralized public institution of public law, with legal status, autonomy of administrative, financial, legal, technical and own equity management, under the tutelage of the Ministry of Justice and Institutional Transparency.  Its purpose is to monitor and evaluate compliance with public policies towards the effective exercise of women's rights; promote the eradication of all types of violence and forms of discrimination against women.
