In addition, since April 1, 2007, the Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) has approved 386 projects to support women, of which, 196 projects specifically target women fleeing domestic violence. In the same time period, HPS has approved over 170 projects targeting Aboriginal women. More than half of these are intended for Aboriginal women experiencing domestic violence.
