Law No. 21153 (Sexual Harassment in Public Spaces)

Brief Description

This law modifies the Criminal Code and penalizes sexual harassment in public or open access spaces. The law sanctions three behaviors: i) the capture and / or dissemination of images of the genitals of another person in a public place without their consent, ii) sexual abuse against persons over 14 years of age and carried out by surprise, and iii) access to the public without the consent of the victim and that may cause a hostile or humiliating  situation against the victim.
