Brief Description


The Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act was passed in 2014 which enabled the Government of Grenada to act upon the United Nations Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children. Comprising of 7 Parts, the Act comprehensively explains the various forms of trafficking and the related offences to each and also includes provisions on the different types of sexual exploitation of women and children.
