Brief Description


The National Plan Against Gender-Based Violence 2016-2021 is an instrument of planning and intersectoral articulation that seeks to articulate in a period of five years the actions of all State institutions to reduce the rates of violence against women in the country. It addresses 16 forms of violence against women, including: forced sterilization, sexual orientation violence, political harassment, economic violence and obstetric violence. The plan also covers sexual harassment, human trafficking, violence during conflicts social and violence that occurs through information and communication technologies.
