National Council on Women

Brief Description

The National Council on Women is the main Non-Governmental Organization which is addressing the Gender Issues in Saint Vincent and Grenadines. They perform advocacy work to encourage the governmentt to develop legislation that protects women from violence, ensure that the state prosecutes cases of domestic violence, provide training on domestic violence, and stregthen systems to ensure that women and girls within the custody of the criminal system are not subjected to sexual assaults and exploitation.
