A National Workplace Policy on Sexual Harassment developed via a consultative process, was laid in the Parliament on 8 March 2019. The Policy, which falls under the purview of the Ministry of Labour and Small Enterprise Development (MOLSED), is designed to prevent, prohibit and address sexual harassment at all levels in the workplace. The Policy seeks to develop a social construct to expand the scope of the industrial relations framework in Trinidad and Tobago that promotes ethical and non-discriminatory practices in the workplace towards the elimination of sexual harassment.
