The National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking was established pursuant to a decision by the Minister for Foreign Affairs. It comprises representatives from several ministries and relevant groups, and is responsible for devising programmes to prevent and combat human trafficking and protect trafficking victims from further harm, as well as for coordinating with national machinery to collect human trafficking data.
