The “Act to Combat Human Trafficking” was drafted and passed following Iran’s inheritance of the “Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons Especially Women and Children”. In the Act to Combat Human Trafficking, provisions have been made for the rights of women and children and punishments devised for those who engage in these crimes.
