Brief Description

The Medium Term Development Plan on Women’s Development 2015-2019 aims to strengthen the capabilities of Kuwaiti women by reviewing and updating legislation, in line with Islamic Sharia, to eliminate discrimination against women. The Plan supports programs to develop women's social and economic capabilities, and to establish an institutional mechanism to protect women from violence in society and the family.
