Prevalence Study on Violence against Women 2019

Brief Description

The General Council for Planning and Development and the Center for Women's Studies and Research conducted the first national study targeting 1961 families to find out the magnitude of the problem of violence against women, and the results of the study were released on 28 April 2019.  Following the results, a workshop will be held with a group of representatives of government agencies and civil society to discuss an action plan to reduce this problem.
