Cross-Sectorial Sub-Council to Combat and Prevent Domestic Violence

Brief Description

The Minister of Justice and Home Affairs' Order No. A/27, 2017 established a Cross-sectorial Sub-council to combat and prevent domestic violence, crimes against children, and provide professional guidance alongside with monitoring implementation of the Law to Combating Domestic Violence. The members of this Sub-council, representing the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, Central Police Department, Ulaanbaatar City Police Department and four NGOs, have planned the inter-sectorial cooperation on policies, trainings and promotion and have been working towards ensuring the implementation of the legislation.
