Brief Description

In 2008, an international symposium on the effects on the family of violence against women, was organized by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in conjunction with the Doha International Institute for Family Studies and Development and held on 19 and 20 November 2008, and a workshop on the quality of psychological and social services aimed at protecting women in Qatar, was held from 22 to 24 December 2008.
