Training Session for Health Workers

Brief Description

From 8 to 10 June 2008, the Qatar Foundation for the Protection of Women and Children organized a training session for health workers, at which ways to address cases of abuse and violence were discussed. The course was attended by 48 male and female nurses from the primary health-care department.

On 15 October 2008, the Foundation held a workshop entitled "Abuse and mental health", which was attended by 63 representatives of governmental, quasi-governmental, civil society and other organizations.
