In 2008, the Korean government invested 140 million KRW in the ‘Housing Provision Project' that enable women victims of domestic and sexual violence to live with their families in group homes in state-owned rental houses. Currently, there are 34 households or 82 women victims of violence and their family members living in 21 housing units.
