Domestic Violence Prevention Day

Brief Description

To heighten social awareness of domestic violence and prevent domestic violence, the government introduced the Domestic Violence Prevention Day (the 8 th of every month, BoraDay) in August 2014. From 2015, the Act on the Prevention of Domestic Violence, etc.of Victims was amended to establish the Domestic Violence Eradication Week (November 25 to December 1) with the aim of raising public awareness of domestic violence.
