The Criminal Justice Division of the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) has a team of 12 experienced prosecutors dealing with High Court (Non-Capital) Cases that usually involve serious sexual offences, including rape. This team is headed by two director-level prosecutors, and assisted by four paralegals and a litigation support unit.
Other acts of gender-based violence, such as outrage of modesty and breach of Personal Protection Orders are usually dealt with in the Subordinate Courts by prosecutors from the State Prosecution Division and police prosecutors from the Prosecution Branch of the Singapore Police Force (SPF).
