Hospital Data on Cases of Violence against Women

Brief Description

All public hospitals submit quarterly statistics on cases of abused women to the Ministry of Health (MOH). Aggregated data collected include: (i) case status (new or repeat cases); (ii) cases referred to the Medical Social Worker (MSW) for counselling; (iii) number of victims who attended counselling; (iv) number of cases classified as abuse cases after counselling by MSW; and (v) professional/organisation which the victim was referred to for management after being examined and treated by doctor as well as counselling by MSW.
