Brief Description


The legal structure on preventing trafficking was strengthened by having amended the Prevention and Suppression of Human Trafficking Act B.E. 2551 (2008), including the most recent amendment in 2017 to revise the definition of the term “exploitation” to be more in line with the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons, especially Women and Children under the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
