Coordination Office against Domestic Violence

Brief Description

Established by the Ministry of Justice, the Office of Coordination against Domestic Violence primarily focuses on provision of support and services for all violated women. Its functioning is based on a partnership between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection and will be the main referral of cases and problems of domestic violence with the aim of resolving them at the legislative level. It is an initiative that aims at preventing domestic violence, protecting victims of violence and addressing cases of domestic violence exhaustively through free legal counseling and proper addressing of domestic violence issues.
