Brief Description

Article II of the Constitution adopted in 1995, and amended in 2009, includes the following provisions: 3. All persons within the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall enjoy the human rights and fundamental freedoms referred to in paragraph 2 above; these include:
b) The right not to be subjected to torture or to inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment.
c) The right not to be held in slavery or servitude or to perform forced or compulsory labor.
d) The rights to liberty and security of person.
