The Act Amending the Criminal Procedure Act of 2017 was a stipulation of a series of measures protecting, inter alia, the privacy of the personal and family life of witnesses and victims from secondary victimisation, and the expansion of the definition of ‘victim’, as understood in the guidelines of criminal procedures.
