The Cross-sectoral Cooperation Agreement on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence was signed at the end of 2018 by seven ministers with the support of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, the General State Attorney, the President of the Supreme Court, the President of the High Misdemeanour Court, the Ombudspersons for Children, for Persons with Disabilities and for Gender Equality, as well as the head of the Office of Gender Equality of the Government of the Republic of Croatia (OGE). Based on the Agreement, a national team and county teams for preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence were formed.
