The Government is reviewing legislation and treatment of cases of sexual assault and abuse. The panel is expected to provide its recommendations regularly in the spring of 2019. Moreover, the Government is examining how the legislation on rape can be improved, inter alia whether the legal definition on rape should be based on a non-consent requirement instead of being based
on violence, threats, etc.
