In 2008 Finland provided support to the following countries through development co-operation to prevent and fight violence against women:
- €24,650 to a project on preventing violence against women in Turkey.
- €41,684 to a project to reintegrate girls, who have fallen victims of human trafficking, into society in Cambodia.
- €320,318 to a project fighting trafficking in human beings in Kosovo and Macedonia.
