Brief Description

The Judiciary Council has as well issued guidelines regarding the handling of cases before the courts, for example regarding the hearing of a child (under 15 years of age) that has been sexually abused and how to conduct a hearing when the accused must leave the courtroom in order for the victim to testify due to the fact that his presence can cause the victim particular difficulty or influence his or her testimony.
