Permanent Forum against Grave Persecutions and the Violence against Women

Brief Description

A Permanent Forum against grave persecutions and the violence against women (Decree of institution approved on December 13th 2007) has been established with the aim to improve dialogue between institutions and civil society on gender-based violence and the protection of victims. The forum will be composed of several institutions and for the first time also by Centre anti-violence and representatives of women organisations. The Forum will play an advisory role for the formulation of opinions and proposals by the Ministry for Rights and Equal Opportunities on violence against women.
