Brief Description


The Law on Amendments to the Criminal Code has been adopted introducing new offences whose survivors are mostly women - forced marriage, sexual harassment, stalking and genital mutilation, thus harmonizing the normative framework with the standards of the Council of Europe Convention on preventing and combating violence against women and domestic violence (Istanbul Convention), which Serbia ratified as one of the first ten countries.
