Brief Description


Due to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic the Prime Minister announced in April 2021, at the request of the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and the Family, a release of 3 mil. Euros from his reserve to finance facilities for victims of domestic violence. This emergency financial injection was intended to finance social services and facilities that provide assistance, counselling, and safe housing for women experiencing violence and their children. In total, the Government Office received 43 requests for funding for projects to assist victims of domestic violence in the amount of 1,587,739, 29 € of which 38 in the combined amount of 1,424,811,20 € were granted.
