Brief Description

The Law No.1/2015 introduces a series of important developments to the Spanish Criminal Code, including the inclusion of a gender perspective in the crime of trafficking in persons, the tightening of criminal sanctions related to sexual abuse, the aggravating discrimination based on gender, the inclusion of gender aspects in the grounds of hate crimes, as well as the definition of new crimes such as forced marriage, harassment and stalking.
