The Domestic Violence Committee (DVC), a combined effort between Government agencies and non-government stakeholders such as churches, meet monthly to discuss issues and concerns relating to domestic violence, and to devise community strategies for reducing such violence. Awareness campaigns are conducted on a regular basis, aiming to teach survivors, perpetrators, and all members of the community that domestic violence is not acceptable.
